David H. Hopper, M.D.

Dr. David Hopper earned his BS at King College in Tennessee and his MD at UNC-Chapel Hill Medical School.  He and Dr. Daub did their residencies together at Moses Cone Hospital.  He is Board Certified in Family Practice, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and a member of the Christian Medical Association.  Having been raised in Korea where his parents were missionaries, he speaks Korean.  He and his wife Liza have four adult children.  After 28 years of family practice in Princeton, WV he joined UMFC in late 2007.  Dr. Hopper's interests include gardening, hiking, golf and photography.   He has gone on many short-term medical missions around the world including Ecuador, China, Sudan, North Korea, Uganda and others.
